LIVERPOOL LOOK TOWARDS LAZIO KEEPER STRAKOSHA

Premier League side Liverpool are still searching for a capable replacement for Loris Karius in goal, as per reports from the Merseyside. The club has considered options in Alisson of AS Roma and Jan Oblak of Atletico Madrid. However, these two would surely cost the club a lot and in the end it might be impossible to poach.

Reports coming in claim Coach Jurgen Klopp has identified another shot stopper in Thomas Strakosha of Lazio. Following the major blunders in the Champions League final, The Reds are desperate for a top player that can handle the pressure and perform. Strakosha would cost Anfield about £30 million, which is well within the club’s budget compared to the other two which would require breaking the world record.

Lazio have already gotten a replacement in Olympiakos keeper Silvio Proto. If the deal goes as planned, the Turkish side will approve of the deal and Proto would join Lazio so Strakosha can participate fully in Liverpool’s pre-season plans.
Liverpool recently confirmed that Emre Can has joined Juventus in a free transfer. The club held out, hoping to reverse the player’s decision not to remain at the Merseyside but they lost the bet, the player and significant money they should have made from selling him on time.

Upfront, Liverpool have been linked to the move for XherdanShaqiri. The Swiss is enjoying a nice run at the ongoing World Cup but he could be set to move to Anfield this summer as Klopp looks to boost his options upfront.
